How Much Does A Ripped Hymen Bleed

Plutonium? And 'forever!

Just give me the warm power of the sun,
Give me the steady flow of a water fall
Give me the spirit of living things as they return to clay

Just give me the restless power of the wind
Give me the comforting glow of a wood fire
But please take all of your atomic poison power away

("Power" - The Doobie Brothers , John Hall, James Taylor
No Nukes: The Muse Concerts For A Non-Nuclear Future)

Back in 1986 (more or less a century ago), the wave emotional (so they say) of the Chernobyl disaster, a young national secretary of Legambiente led an anti-nuclear demonstration which gathered 200,000 people in Rome. Shortly thereafter, on the same emotional wave (they always say so), in 1987, with over a million signatures in a few months, the referendum on nuclear power decreed the abandonment of the nuclear option in Italy.

Since then much water has passed over the cooling systems of nuclear power plants (foreign, of course). Technology has made the usual giant steps: nuclear power plants are now third generation, fourth generation and will soon be a day not far off, will become the fifth generation. The most advanced generations look the previous as we look at Cro Magnon, as a smartphone with Android might look at a Motorola Startac.

A rethinking is necessary, even radical. Clubs or associations flourished again for the revival of nuclear energy in Italy: the glorious Italian Nuclear Association, the Association of Environmentalists for Nuclear Energy Nuclear Scientists etc..
born even non-profit organizations aimed exclusively at the debate, as the Italian Nuclear Forum, chaired by the same young national secretary of Legambiente 1986. The vast movement of opinion is not is insensitive to the legislature: with a set of rules and well-publicized and deeply wanted a couple of declarations of a surprisingly non-judicial to the press by the President of the Council, the door is opened. We will also have our 13 nuclear power plants, it is only to determine where, not to determine why.

The usual left-or backward DiPietro or environmentalists, nostalgic for times gone by and wishing to keep the country under subjection energy, they got the go-ahead for referendum repeal of those provisions. What to do? Simple: if or not talk about it or, if you really must be spoken, who speaks at least one side.

In this light, the Italian Nuclear Forum, the organization more willing to debate, has bombed in recent months with a commercial chess in which, with patience, White contends nuclearists move after move to the unfounded and cowardly allegations of antinuclear Black. And 'know, beyond the symbolism inherent in the ethical dualism White / Black, and in the game of chess, with the advantage of the sudden, the white line of speculation should always win.

Unexpectedly, However, the message is blocked, and impartial jury that is misleading by the Advertising Self-Regulation, on multiple instances of proposals by associations and private citizens. It will therefore be necessary (and is certainly ready) for further action to develop the advertising debate among citizens. Also in the same direction, though.

The main problem that the forum is facing these days, however, comes from underground. The terrible earthquake and the Japanese nuclear disaster in progress, in fact, may induce some naive to reconsider its position on the subject, or at least to assume one. There is a grave risk of public opinion even in sleepy and ignorant, a new wave of emotion (yes, it still says so) anti-nuclear. Maybe not quite a tsunami : but, as you know chess, when you are ahead you should not concede anything to the opponent (if any).

In these days, so we see on television a long line of experts who explain why we should be okay. Two pearls
  • White: Sky Tg24 12.03.2011: expert interviewed said that it is not clear what it is collapsed following the explosion in the reactor in Fukushima, probably a secondary building and unnecessary.
Black: From the pictures it is clear that to be the cage was destroyed reactor.
  • White: The main topic presented by engineers, scientists and experts in earthquakes are much more numerous and dangerous gas pipeline explosions and fires caused by power stations and cables' s high voltage.
Black: In those cases, the radioactivity is not a problem: the fires are extinguished, explosions, explode, radioactivity remains.

The news continues to arrive from Japan, where real information and activities are neutral and designed to save lives, tell of new power plants (in Japan 57) at risk of explosion and contamination of larger parts evacuated because of the risk and fall-out radioactivity, tell us about 700,000 displaced persons and the risk of a new catastrophic earthquake in the next few hours. The move now is at the Nuclear Forum Italian: it's up to them to explain why all this is happening in Japan is irrelevant and unrepeatable.
Plutonium is forever.
Bad faith as well.

Travel Microwave Toronto

almost parallel universes Antonio Caronia

Read these pages now well aware of current reality brought me the same feelings that I had tried to read some pages of Mayakovsky (VVM) in "Comrade government.'s political writings."
page where the passion and enthusiasm were alive and palpable, as the pages that told time is never enough to do many things that were deemed necessary. The nights spent to build, paint, write, speak, because it was necessary to speak, was part of life, it was essential to life, was life.
Reading the VVM, see how today, with a few clicks, you could do what once required days, and note that the extreme accessibility is not Socratic, or rather is tarpante .... sad. "But how - one wonders - now no longer needed posters, pens, huge printing machines ... now that everything is so simple and feasible, where the desire to do? "It 's the sense of loss that affects all the more acute as many are the possibilities that today we open, we do not use and which do not give value.

This is the kind of sadness induced by the reading of "almost parallel universes", this time is the sense of loss for what could be and was not. For what is supposed to be, and has not been .
The book speaks of missed opportunities, of inconclusive battles, performing arts, literary criticism, attempts to channel the energies - from below and above - Towards a new imaginary. It speaks of a time when not only science fiction was popular and widely read (at the time the players just seemed to tout court and seemed even less than those of science fiction, but as you can clearly see, there is never any limit to the worse), but popular and widespread was also thinking about today in critical but constructive, in a perspective drawing, no matter near or far, picture of the future. Contemplating
post than we did then, what were the hopes, ideas and how little or nothing is left, is an exercise hard: for who was there, but was distracted and did not hear a clamor that far; for those who were there and did not want to hear, almost predicting the inanity; for those who had fought and, for these, the book is painful.
If there was, however, the book is interesting and instructive: it tells a story recently which is never discussed, points to new readers that it always pays to question what we read and, if not we read, the stories still come to us, and it is important to think about it. There is a thread that binds Blade Runner, Minority Report, Screamers, If Spotless Mind, A Scanner Darkly, Total Recall, Inception, Matrix, and another that binds 1984, Brazil, The Truman Show, V for Vendetta, 1997 Escape from New York, Equilibrium: follow these threads is one of the best things that anyone who loves the stories can do for himself. This book helps us better understand what we see, to make us see better what we want, if we find the courage to desire. Hopefully.

Teddy Bears' picnic

If you go down in the woods today
You're sure of a big surprise
If you go down in the woods today
You'd better go in disguise.
For ev 'ry Bear that ever there was
Will gather there for certain because,
Today's the day the Teddy Bears have their Picnic.
Picnic time for Teddy Bears,
The little Teddy
Bears are having a lovely time today.
And see them picnic on their holiday.
See theem gaily gad about,
They love to play and shout, They never have any cares;
At six o'clock their Mummies and Daddies
Will take them home to bed,
Because they're tired little Teddy Bears.
If you go down in woods today
You'd better not go alone
It's lovely down in the woods today
But safer to stay at home.
For ev' ry Bear that ever there was
Will gather there for certain, because
Today's the day the Teddy Bears have their Picnic.

Going Away Party Invitation Verbage

The Determination of Joel and Ethan Coen - The Hands That Built America

Charles Mc Coll Portis
The country was very young
the cavalry was his defense,
the brilliant green of the prairie,
demonstrated in an impressive manner, the existence of God
the God who designed the border and build the railway.
At that time I was a kid, playing rummy and whistled at women.
Gullible, romantic, a man with mustache,
if I could choose between life and death,
between life and death, I would choose America.
Francesco De Gregori "Buffalo Bill"

A black wire connects part of the film production of the fabulous brothers Joel and Ethan Coen. It 's a thread that starts from the crude and violent debut "Blood Simple", is held in the beautiful "Crossroads of Death", whose original screenplay is explicitly indebted to Dashiell Hammett, a wire passing through the cold "Fargo" to arrive at Cormack Mc Carthy " No Country for Old Men "and the" True Grit "in theaters today, faithful to the famous film finally (U.S.) Mc Coll novel by Charles Portis.
We are not in front of the remake of the film that earned him the John Wayne his only Oscar, too distant from the real issues of the novel.
Instead, it is the faithful and passionate narration of the novel by Portis. The female character, as in Fargo, requires order, security, justice, as in Fargo is stubbornly willing to take risks and to use any means to redress the balance unfairly broken. It 's a fracture that can only be reconstructed through compensation, the amount of which is uncertain, as uncertain of the true value of a horse: something you notice when you find the star closely with the murderess of her father and His current accomplices.
So far, so normal. The reflection on the nature of retributive justice and its distinction (if any) from the private vengeance would not bring the film far from the great classics of the genre films, as "The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance," the first "That train to Yuma" and "Rio Lobo."

Joel and Ethan Coen
The conflict in the Coens give voice (along with Portis and Mc Carthy), however, is that between Form and Substance , between Order and Chaos: Order / Form requires compensation, it that the guilty be punished or that the fault is repaired, the material fact that may be brought within the fold of abstract forecasts. E 'in substance / Chaos, however, that the events actually occur, and once and for all: the horse is stolen or purchased at a nominal price, the father is killed, no compensation will restore the status quo ante.

The law, often called the protagonist in the person of his lawyer, a construction is fragile and illusory, and certainly, as the heroine realizes many years later, the dogged research of pay and repair does not bring happiness, but rather the its opposite. The upheaval operated by Coen (and Portis, and Mc Carthy) is here: the film features the traditional American (and western) indicated as positive in itself (grit, courage, persistence, rule of law) were only Forma the creation of a functional system (A little 'more) efficient, not to achieve the "happiness" mentioned in the preamble of the U.S. Constitution.
The subtitle of "Gangs of New York was Scorsese's" America was born in the streets. " Not only that. E 'was also born in the prairies of Oklahoma described by Portis: and hands that built America, remind us of the Coen brothers, dripping with blood and obstinacy.

Love Bands What Do The Colours Mean

666 by Aphrodite's Child

Apocalypsis Beati Ioannis Apostoli. The fade 60 years and, among the complex of melodic pop, through a series of 45 'that crazy about the teenagers at the time, Aphrodite's Child open road: Vangelis (Evangelos Odysseas Papathanassiou), Demis Roussos, Lucas Sideras.
time rock and times of Altamont.
Spring, Summer and Fall Winter , It's Time o 'Clock , figures in the imaginary television in black and white or in color, winking from magazine covers at the time, and then Here Young Hello 2001. Sweet music consumption in an effort to cut the past when you open the urgency of new music. Where? At the intersection of history with the Apocalypse, at Altamont, when the sons of Aphrodite know they are demons, of course, as stated in the words of Socrates, Plato, as Eros is a Daimon megas. Not that the sons of Aphrodite feel beautiful, then as saying by newspaper critics, is the Greek-speaking and joins.
666, the "Number of the Beast," To Mega Therion, a double 33 rpm album concept, powerful progressive, modern re-write the history of the Apocalypse that John of Patmos, the greek most of the evangelists, the rod to regain control of a doctrine that already escaped from the times of preaching.
a record that could make rock history, and has not done, that few remember, but as an epiphany. Papathanassiou author of it, Sideras on drums, Roussos singing, and Costas Ferris who writes the lyrics: a coterie almost alchemical music, ranging in all genres and translates the vision of modern rock. Needless to establish a lineup of the best pieces, each to be taken in its entirety and in its con-text, every nuance in its own right, as if the voice evocative of Patmos REACHED really, without the tragic habit compilation of the work that disintegrates and produces kitsch.
But remember Do it! battle cry (Who was Jerry Rubin) Generation of the Sixties; Seven Bowls, played a worthy of a psychedelic trip gone wrong, and finally the unnamed track that marks the symbol of infinity, in which the voice of Irene Papas chanting mantra becomes the voice in song, singing in prolonged orgasm, a semantics of salvation (erotic), and before getting up Great Gig in the Sky by Pink Floyd or the machinations of erotic Gloria Gaynor.

Here we are on the edge of history flowed from the greek world to the Hebrew. Hic et Nunc , generationally hippy anthem and the center of the story, the joint intentional the end of the hippy dream and the Advent of the Apocalypse: the unrelenting Altamont that seems to foreshadow the sounds of Magma, the memory for the free concert by the Rolling Stones with attached murder of Hell's Angels by a spectator. End of the World hippies, and everyone at home ... Lucas Sideras not find a trace, Demis Roussos see him with post-hippie shirt and his incredible voice to delight the ears of housewives and housewives between songs of love Vangelis Papathanassiou lose the last name and will work as beautiful and Albedo 12:39 Invisible Connections, several soundtracks, including to remember Antarctic and Blade Runner . End of a world. The End of the World was another success of the sons of Aphrodite.

Rent Gowns Metro Manila

Imperial Earth by Arthur C. Clarke

In 1976 the Western world seemed to tremble deferential to the idea of \u200b\u200bthe so-called American Revolution Bicentennial and even the staid Arthur Clarke (1917-2008), dean of science fiction and British to the core, not too enthusiastic Americanism, he found himself talking about it, his novel set in the Quincentenary (but as a good British, leaving all the background).
In 2276 the young Duncan Makenzie, a clone of Colin, in turn clone of Malcolm, who was unable to generate because of the radiation from Titan goes to Earth to celebrate, but also to create a clone (black; why, we'll find out later, Makenzie are not white ... and the envy of the blacks on Earth because of its dark color ...).
Calindy On Earth crosses the land he fell in love ten years ago, who was the lover of his friend Karl Helmer, participate in tours, including a visit to the Titanic being restored, and is involved in a plot created by a yellow piece of titanium joint by contraband Titan in Karl and Calindy seem to be the culprits.
As the novel becomes a film noir in fact, we simply point out that the accidental death of Karl, and termination of the case, Duncan if he returns to Titan with a clone ... white clone of Karl.
Solid novel of the old lion, which in a yellow frame, obviously with a scientific background, accompanied by interesting inventions at will.

the face of the great works of his early period, those of the fifties and sixties who are, as Sands of Mars (1951), or the sunset Guides (1953), the strength of the "scientific" in its production, we are faced with a series of human stories that intersect with science, can not miss the comment of Duncan, frightened by the sight of a horse, which claims to have met her first monster spaiziale.
For lovers of gossip, finally, a possible outing of Clarke (not yet affected the target of accusations of child abuse raised by the usual tabloid rag, which was later acquitted) in Duncan's effeminate men who dance with the nurses of test-tube birth, back to our memory when a boy, he found himself with a friend in love with him ...

Lola Wants Lola Gets Chords

Elio Germano and Thom Pain - Nothing, and so is the lullaby Lullaby

room in total darkness: the beautiful voice of Elio Germano begins his monologue / dialogue with the audience. Start
, dictionary in hand, from an unlikely definition of the word "fear"

"1) Any party to the face, such as eyes, mouth, or eyes.
2) The capital of Lower Meersham, in the central-south

est.Pop. approximately 8,000,001.
3) Fear
4) See three
5) There is no number seven. "

Here are the opening words of" Thom Pain (based on nothing) "monologue highly successful, award-winning foreign , written by one of the most promising writers of his generation, Will Eno.

The show is structured as a "one-man show" in normal conditions, the comedian will captivate the audience with lightning strokes, or moves him telling details of his sad existence.

But Thom Pain is not a comedian .

"So. Some things can not decide us. The shape of the face, say, or whether we will be forgiven, or what we are high. Where to sleep, and when.

wait until the laughter died away. "

Thom Pain is a lump of pain, an elf existentialist who does not know the answers but knows the questions.

"Questions? No?
I've got one.
When you have finished your childhood? How hard you have been hit when you, when you were this little, this helpless little thing, nothing but big eyes, a heart and a few hundred words? Is not it wonderful how we do not resume again? "

comes from nothing, Thom Pain. Go to nowhere. So the only thing that is the present.

"And if you had only one day left to live? What would you do? It 's easy, you'd be brave and sincere and unconscious ... But what if you had only forty years to live? "

seeks contact with the public, Thom Pain. Sudden very brief romance with the spectators, told rambling anecdotes and long without consoling moral search (pretending to search) to find out what are the dreams of the audience, but the results do not interest him. Why

Thom Pain comes from nothing, goes to nowhere, the only feelings that give you the assurance of being alive is fear and pain. Function words and indefinable: true feelings, however, where everything else is illusory.

on the show dominates the wait, as (it is the only analogy) in the theater of the absurd: waiting for a solution, a development of a revelation. In the universal indifference that surrounds us, of course, the expectation is vain.

Elio Germano is amazing, indistinguishable from the character. As correctly noted in the brochure, you can not imitate or interpret Thom Pain: it can only be Thom Pain.

Stretching Labia Pain

Sleepy the death of Barbara Baraldi

Barbara Baraldi, Lullaby. The lullaby of death , Castelvecchi , p.. 232, € 15.00

The novel black, gothic, horror and crime to be a bit 'of time have opened the roads leading to the women's fiction: from Salvatori, certainly the best pen, the Fassio, the Comastri-Montanari, Teodorani and so on, we have witnessed a gradual increase in the number of women writers in spite of genres (and sub) by definition male.
In reality there is no sexual variation, or diversification of writing: novels written women seem to be written by men, and we're not really sure whether it's a compliment ... As evidence of this, this novel by Barbara Baraldi, already the author for the "yellow" Mondadori, which seeks to carry out the traditional themes of black twisting the narrative form, timing, point of view of the narrator.
In classic country where everybody knows everybody, a catalog of human samples intersect in a very dark history in which students incocainate, pushers, failures of all kinds spend their lives. Coagulating point of the story is Marcello, chronically unemployed, with a huge Oedipus complex, which do ambirebbe The writer, a mother can not be bullied. The novel row away quickly, written as a film script with a text reduced to a minimum but with an overabundance of dialogue (often unrealistic, such as those between the girls) and with different flashes but interesting ending up losing their way.
The final compacts stories, promote a sense and is covered with a sneer, but the overall impression is that of a writer who has thrown a novel. Especially since (and return to the starting point) would be expected that a woman's hand to write female characters not rescued from cliché today's generation and with the weight of a male, but rather than explaining the motivations with the psychology of a woman. Instead (and this is the paradox) Who is best painting is the man. Paradox? Maybe yes, maybe no.

Labia Discomfort Lump

Hereafter Clint Eastwood - Death and the Inspector

marked by appropriate reading selections from Dickens's David Copperfield and concluded by reading a passage from Little Dorrit , Eastwood's latest film unfolds through an elegant paintings, almost unprecedented in the work of American director.

The character played by Matt Damon is a psychic able to communicate with the dead: the simple physical contact with a person allows him to trace the spirit of the deceased and to bring back messages and guidance to the joint alive.

gift or rather curse? Along the same lines of The Stochastic Man by Robert Silverberg and de The Dead Zone by Stephen King (and also most of the Marvel superheroes), the main character has long since realized that this may prevent him from living a normal life and has given up some time to exercise: you find yourself still, of course, forced to use their gift because of the circumstances of his or pietas.

Eastwood said in the meantime other two stories separated in space: that of the successful French journalist upset by near-death experience and that of the London boy desperate for a way to contact your sister killed in a car accident. The three plans are continually alternated, until the obvious confluence final.

Reflection on the fragility of human existence, highlighted by fast and frightening scenes of "accidents" (tsunami, investment and attack), the story does not develop much history along the lines of "supernatural", the contact with the world of the dead, as the comforting (for living) hope in the existence of a "Hereafter," an otherworldly place where the dead can at least put things in place, communicating with the living. It 'just living on his eyes that Eastwood pin on the effects of separation from their loved one and ways of mourning, placing the case (great?) The existence of a possibility of further contact.

Dickensian themes of family (the story of the twins and the mother addict) and the difficult ascent after the fall (the history of television journalist) are dominant, in fact highlighted by the reading of excerpts from David Copperfield.

More importantly, in interpreting the work, however, seems to be an emphasis on reading the passage from Little Dorrit. The Marshalsea prison for debtors (from which, after long journey, "will execute" Little Dorrit), which dominates the work properly and that Charles Pagetti in his fine introduction Einaudi edition defines "timeless nightmare," is in fact a metaphor for the Platonic body - Prison of the soul. "

hope (certainty, Matt Damon) of the protagonists of Hereafter is that there is a world, even (especially) outside the prison.
